Mike and Sharon Washburn 25th Anniversary with RHCC
Mike Washburn came to RHCC 25 years ago with a daunting challenge of building a Singles Ministry. He also had a young family to nurture and raise. Immediately he began building a ministry, relishing victories, tackling difficult situations, and meeting whatever he faced head on.
While he was growing a vibrant ministry, he and Sharon were raising two young daughters into womanhood. Randi and Taylor and their spouses are a great blessing and a testament to Mike and Sharon’s faithfulness.
Another thing we appreciate about Mike is his growth as a leader and the way he mentors other leaders. Mike has counseled, taught, mentored, exhorted, encouraged, and compassionately listened to hundreds of souls in this flock. His passion and love for this body, individually and corporately, runs deep and wide…25 years of relationship building makes for high demands on his time and counsel.
It also means he knows the ins and outs, the victories and defeats, and all the warts and the beauty of this body.Mike has been instrumental in RHCC growing into a church that has a heart for people in our body, in our community, and beyond.
