Today's Report For Mom

Mom went in this morning to get her numbers and to talk with the Drs. about the next step in treatment. She found out that her numbers are very good for someone at the end on chemo treatment. That was great news!
She also found out that the Drs. are unsure of what to do next. There are pros and cons for any order of treatment, so they decided to have a follow-up MRI on Monday to determine the best order to go with. She will either have radiation starting in about a week and then the mastectomy surgery stuff after, or the surgery in about two weeks and radiation will follow. We will know more on Monday or shortly there after.
We are pleased with a follow-up MRI, though, because we are curious about how much the chemo helped.
